All About Me

       Hello! My name is Lauren Wartner and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. I grew up in Elmhurst, IL with my two sisters and my wonderful parents. After graduating high school, I attended Saint Mary's College in South Bend, IN. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and Saint Mary's has shaped me into the teacher I am today. After I graduated, I moved back to Elmhurst and accepted a teaching position at Immaculate Conception Grade School. I taught first grade for a year and second grade my second year. In 2022, I accepted a second grade teaching position at Kennedy Elementary. I am so lucky to be a part of the Kennedy staff. I love to teach and I can't wait to meet everyone in my class! In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends, spending time at my lake house, watching the Blackhawks and Notre Dame football, and spending time with my family.
